Your suggestion about lowering prices is a great one. The fly in the
ointment is and has always been, that Magneto Optical drives have
always been too expensive to produce. Its tough to price a 5.2 Gbyte drive @ under $1K because the manufacturing cost is probably in the $400-500 range. Things will change hopefully when NFR (near field recording devices) become more commonly available.

Niche markets will keep optical alive but in the foreseealble future
Magentic Hard Drives from the likes of Seagate, Quantum, etc. will
continue to be the mass storage device of choice.

For whatever reason, the stock made a significant move today to the
$0.31 level. Six cents doesn't sound like much but it is a very
significant percentage move. Anyone hear anything positive about
PNCL?
