Moons,

COMS seems to be holding up OK today considering the
sh*tty market. Volume very low. Nobody
wants to sell, nobody wants to buy. Shorts
afraid of getting burned I guess. Usually
not like them. In the past we'd be down at least
a pt or so.

I don't think we will get a retest of 30 until
next week. Doesn't look like it's going to
happen today. I can't imagine traders wanting
to hold over the weekend.

30-year bond at 5.54%. I think this is the lowest
so far this year. If I was a big corporatio, I sure
would be thinking of a) refinancing to lower costs
b) borrowing for future investments/projects - preferably
building production facilities in E.Asia.

I think COMS is thinking this way. Bodes well for '99
and '00, if they are taking advantage of low interest
rates.
