*OT on Paul Krugman* web.mit.edu Hey Presto! Read my pal's home page there. "Welcome to my home page. The main purpose of this page is to give interested parties - students, colleagues, journalists, mad bombers, etc. - easy access to some of my more recent writings." There is an article about him and quoting him in the New Zealand Sunday Star Times 16 August. Not much new, but he was quoted: "But if you see the guys in charge having an argument in the west wing of the White House, you start to wonder whether it's such a good idea to let them get their hands on it. The level of economic discussion in government is pretty primitive." Sounds like it's a good idea to hand the economic running of the USA/World to the SI thread. Probably wouldn't be a lot worse than how it goes now. I suppose in a way, that we each control it anyway! Mqurice
