Watch out for this 1070 pivot- I think that real battle will be fought on resistances and
that is 1087-92 region watch out for the action on those points...A break below 1060
today is averted probably even with TLAB and some other hi fliers suffering a major
blow...

Electric, re: Chernoff's discussion on US GDP and foreign mkts.

Despite the nice construction of the argument, I find the conclusion (and supporting evidence) to be ludicrous. If, however, we are to agree with such reasoning, then how are we to explain the apparent slowdown in corp revenue/earnings? Is the Asian "crisis" a ruse for executives to cover fundamental domestic constraints?

Of course, I don't know the answers...just seeking to explore possibilities.

Good luck with the options,
Alan

E :

I didn't catch Alan the Bear, but thank God I've been lucky enough to not have to listen to Michael Metz .......

that ol coot has been yelling bear so long that I can't remember anything else coming from Oppenheimer ....
heck, he can't even afford a decent haircut for his diminished locks, how is he going to be upbeat about anything ...... ggggg

Alan does at least make some rational observations, and as you said, this latest report that I missed was well done.

I think I'll be a watcher until Slick gets to the Grand.
