Let's go with that for the moment. You still haven't told me what would possess someone to buy EVI at 70.

I am troubled on how to get a real valuation of any stock in any sector with the carnage of these driller fresh in my mind.

Is buying/selling nothing more than a game of "greater fool theory"? In October 1997, was 70 a mo-mo price, or was that justified?

I am really having trouble with how to define reasonable valuation...Why is 18 now a reasonable price for EVI, and why would people sell here?
