Glenn, I watched a review of the iMac on ZDTV and the editor said when they tested it...it is the power PC, didn't catch the model, in a new box. They liked it in general. They dinged it for not having a zip drive AND they said the mouse is a major boner. Myself, I think the monitor is too small. The keyboard isn't to my liking since I got use to the MSFT type. And I question why the CD-rom isn't a DVD. You're right...I'd never buy one, it's still Dell, Micron or Gateway for me.
