Mike, couple of quick questions here...

_ Could you tell me what does the AT&T stuff in the proxy imply?.
1) Cien 40 channel taken for testing, in lieu of the 16 channel. No mention that LU's 16 channel, winning the deal. It
could have been mentioned that we have lost out the the competition
on the 16 channel front, but are competiting on the 40 channel front.
Was this an intentional coverup, and now back tracking by CIen
management....

- I have been a bull, for over 1 year now, so don't get me wrong.
Optical, netwoking blaah blaah etc. I know it all.

What is important, is that TLAB should NOT be infiltrated with
roguish values if the article by www.thestreet.com is true. This means
that intentionally information was subdued by CIEN management. What
have you got to say to that. Call up investor relations Tom and ask
him that...

- Are these gyrations worth wiping out 1 years gains of tlab. In fact if people bought last august (65), we stand at practically a
10% loss. With TLAB this is unimaginable... Sigh but true.

Basically, this may NOT be the tlab of the past. The company has to
stand up and clarify the AT/T issue.

Will the stock recover?. Sigh. At this point I don't care. Maybe
I need Dave Dickerson to tide me over. Better still as my friend puts
it. "Let me see the light". Immi
