I tend to agree but note that the terms of the lending is wide open to discussion. Furthermore I would note that with S.E. Asia, China, Japan, S. Korea, and now Russia all high on the G-7s worry list it seems to me that the U.S. has its hands very full. I also wonder about the G-7 and disparity in agendas. Comments to the above anyone?

Best,
Stitch
P.S. Jurgis, welcome and thank you for the post which was eloquent and compelling. Having lived several years in an old "Loogan" neighborhood in Chicago during my formative years and having my eyes opened to what sheer joy truly is by attending a Lithuanian wedding, I have always wanted to visit your country. Maybe someday.
