>>Re "Democrats support tax increases"

I think this is a very tired and old (sorry I don't have the time
to research it all the way back) and useless argument.

Useless to you, because it's true.

>>The fact of the matter is that Clinton appointed the best man
for a very critical job - a Republican, Rubin.

Wrong. Rubin was and is a Dem.

>>BC and Hillary are achievers - let's give credit where its due -
before falling back to tired old super-conservative nonsense.

In what sense? "Achiever" is rarely used for people who have done nothing but government. And don't say Hillary was a litigator, she wasn't. She was a "rainmaker", she shook down people who wanted to do business in Arkansas.

What they have achieved is producing the most indicted, convicted and corrupt administration is modern history. Their most noted "attribute" is their ability to lie.

>>Going on from the "casting the stone" issue - I hope you will agree that BillC, Hillary and AlGore are the
people we want to take us forward - or perhaps you would prefer Dan Quayle?

I hope you would get serious. I couldn't agree less. Quayle is not my pick but Gore is easily dumber than a stone (and Quayle), remembering that Gore flunked out of law school while Quayle passed the Bar.

And the Clintons have established themselves as both beneath contempt and rotten to their immoral cores.

Great comeback Jay,

You forgot the old cliche, It's the economy stupid. Also, the latest phrase, So what, it's none of your business. Please refer to your Clintonista handbook if you intend to repeat your lockstep comebacks.

Like most of Clinton's supporters, "you don't have time to research it all the way back".

Yep. Some other achievers of this century have been Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini (the trains really did run on time), Hussein. Being an achiever isn't necessarily a great goal in life -- it's WHAT you achieve. That's where BC falls short.
