<<<OT>>> RECORDING BOB BRINKER'S RADIO SHOW USING YOUR COMPUTER...

For those of you who wish to use your computer as a "tape recorder" to record Bob Brinker's radio show may want to download a program call "RecordIt". The program was developed by Iomega. They have recently made it available at their web site at no charge.

You can set up the program and record for hours. More than sufficient time to record Bob's complete radio show. Instead of recording to an Iomega Zip drive, you may want to consider recording to your "c" drive...this will increase your recording time. I suggest you set the "audio quality" to the "two star" setting. (You'll see what I mean when you download and install the program.) This setting gives good audio quality and maximizes your recording time. (The "one star" setting gives more time, but the audio quality is poor.)

Plug your computer "mic" into the "mic jack" on your sound card. Place the mic next to your radio's speaker and set the radio's sound level high enough to get a good recording.

Here's the Iomega link:

Just follow Iomega's instructions and you should be able to install the program and run it with no problems.

If you need further assistance, please contact me.

I have used the RecordIt program for a few weeks and its great. If you wish to record to a Zip or Jaz drive, you can save the show for future reference.

Good luck.
