What did the results show?

The limited results to date showed extensions of the gold zone scovered late last year, implying an increase in reserves (presently standing at some 100,000 ounces) it is really too early to say anything else. Remember that this is only the start of the program and individual results don't mean all that much. Let's just say no one is disappointed, we're pretty happy so far.

Extension of all known zones is main goal for this drilling season.

I spoke to mining executive who is evaluating various mineral projects available for Joint Venture. According to him, there is about half dozen advanced, near production projects, unable to raise funding. This gives idea on a number of good projects available today for majors like Kinross to choose from.

Brandon you doing right by averaging down your MIQ holdings.

It does appear that with three rigs they may come-up with a few more holes for a given time period. Keep in mind, it takes about two weeks to run samples in lab.
We know that, 1997 drill data was not computerised. 1997 and 1998 data is being compiled and modelled on computer by Kinross people.
As 98 season progress this data will become more interesting and hopefully will be released to investors. Often such data is produced and shown on mining conventions by agressive juniors seeking JV partners and attracting mining analysts. MIQ newer displayed such qualities and still managed to secure important JV.

I my opinion, before investment House will take serious promotion campaign they will request such brochure to be printed. It would be interesting to view this material.

I read northern Nevada getting a lot of rain to the point it hinders local heap leach operations. There is fair amount of activity being reported from Nevada. I think MIQ is in a right place.
