You keep missing the point.

Your argument takes another piece of the pie the DSL people are wishing to have, and that it the business market. Because at current prices and bandwidth all the consumer market will be going toward the cable modem option once available in their respective areas. That leaves the business market which in my opinion is far less that the consumer market and will be divided to DSL and non DSL options, leaving a smaller DSL market. The next questions is which technology and company will stand at the end of the battle for this anemic market, only time will tell, however based on the above anyone betting on DSL companies is betting on losing horses.

If you are saying that ADSL will be attractive for businesses, I think you are wrong.
The big and midium size businesses are getting fiber right to their premisses. This
what Teleport was doing before ATT snatched it for $11 billions. Many other
Competitive LECs are doing the same thing, stealing big/medium businesses,
capable to pay, from RBOCs. The smaller businesses might be attracted to ADSL
but the profit margins on those might not be as attractive.">
