Hi Bob,
My analysis of the change in trend of Dell (from up to neutral) was based on a variety of factors - price/volume action, the Bollinger Bands at that time, the historic patterns of Dell, etc. Of course, not always does this turn out to be the accurate analysis. In fact, on an earlier occasion I had written Dell calls and then stock surged up a week later. My stock purchase got triggered and then my stock got assigned at expiration. Even in that scenario, I made over $6/sh in a month.

The key to my approach so far has been pre-determining what I plan to do and sticking to it. That, and by writing calls getting time on your side, can really help make some serious money.
