Tom,

If you are watching the opening prices on a lot of these stocks, they have been gapping up over the last week. The up move is on small volume and when its over at 10:00 the funds and shorts are coming in to crush the stocks. Selling then takes them to new lows. Lower highs and lower lows still show me the selling isn't over. I would like to see these stocks gap down on the opening and then come back to at least unchanged for the day. That may give me a short term buy signal. Have been seeing this happen on ESV,FLC,FGII,GLM as I trade them. FLC also appears to me to be under heavy selling pressure possibly due to arbitrage with the merger with CDG. Sold my CDG @ 22 1/2 on Weds. when the fixed premium wasn't realized. or even close to the exchange value. IMHO theres some good money to be made when the bottom comes in, but when that happens is anyones guess. By the bearish stance from the street and the percentage drop over the last 4 months some sort of final capitulation should occur sometime soon IMHO. I guess how big we may bounce up will be in proportion to how far we fall first.

Good Trading

Dave
