FIRST PIZZA PLACE DRIVE-THRU KIOSK SHIPS FROM MISSOURI FACTORY
AMERICAN KIOSK TO RECEIVE UNIT IN PALM BEACH GARDENS LOCATION -
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL. AUGUST 19, 1998

American Kiosk Corporation (OTC-BB: AKIS) reported that its first Pizza Place drive-thru pizza unit has shipped from a Missouri factory near Kansas City and is expected to arrive in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida by August 21st.
The prefabricated building will initially serve as a model for the company's franchised pizza outlets. These stand-alone kiosks will be capable of serving a fresh, brickoven-baked pizza to drive-thru or walk-up customers in only 2.5 minutes.
The new unit will be placed on the grounds of the local Pepsi-Cola bottling plant, where it will be outfitted with various hardware and a turn-key point-of-sale system.
"We are thrilled to receive our first Pizza Place kiosk after several months of design and development," said Richard Michael, president of American Kiosk, "and we are grateful to the support of our partners at the Pepsi Cola bottling facility who have allowed us use of their grounds as a launching point for our national marketing campaign."
"We will now be able to provide a live demonstration to many of the potential franchise owners who have inquired during the last few months," says American Kiosk's marketing director, Mike Morgan, "and we expect an enthusiastic response to their first hands-on experience of Pizza Place."
The company expects to create a new fast-food market niche by keeping pizza delivery simple and quick, and for prospective franchise owners, a low entry point for start-up - as little as $89,900 per store. The building requires only six parking lot spaces, no cement slab, and can be moved to higher traffic areas if desired.
The company's secret is a unique, patented oven that uses a space-age cooking brick heated to 550 degrees, combined with forced air and a precision-timed, grill element. The oven won "Best Overall New Product" at the 1997 Restaurant and Food Service Show in New York.
American Kiosk Corporation is involved in the development and implementation of national-brand franchise systems of kiosk-style retail outlets that deliver popular food products to consumers.
