Anyone getting depressed about Friday's XAU should check out Kaplan's latest column. He thinks gold is getting ready to rock.

Unfortunately, he's taken and adhered to that position as gold has plunged from $400+ to its current price. He does however make some good points and does present a well thought out column. Hope is is right soon though...

Another column that I follow is Yauger's "Elliott Wave Principle applied to the XAU Gold & Silver index" page (http://www.mgl.ca/~yauger/wrapup.html#wrapup ). His predictions have been pretty good in the long run. He isn't always on the mark, but he has made some remarkably accurate prognostications. Given my ownership of some gold stocks, I hope he is wrong in his current predictions of a target of 35 for the XAU.
