The Nascar #28 Texaco Havoline Ford Owner Robert Yates announced in a " Off The Wall " statement, That they will be adding a new Name to their Texaco sponsored cars in the 1999 season. The new name will be Texaco/Rentech GTL When asked of His Feeling of The Deal, He could only comment to his friends on SI and say " It is Time " Although the negotiations are not yet fully completed, on June 24 The company put out a press release stating that, "Rentech's management is optimistic that these negotiations will be successfully concluded in the relatively near future" When asked What will Rentech bring to your team, He commented The best Damn thing going in the GTL market. He also added "Rentech has received nine patents regarding its gas-to-liquids technology and has additional patent applications pending". When asked of the Competition, He could only comment What Competition, To Date they have not produced one drop Rentech's GTL process works, We have Seen it.
