Re Hiring of new employees- The ad calls for an Engineer as well as Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic and Machine Shop Technicians. The requirements for such personnel doubles and triples when production is scheduled for multiple 8-hour shifts. As with most factories, it makes sense to run multiple shifts because production can be increased without buying more machinery! Also, much intitial installation and debugging of new equipment was done with assistance from equipment manufacturers. More of this can be done by Valence personnel as similar equipment is added.
