| Viagra's problem IS specifically with nitrates and nitrates are NOT
| in most high blood pressure medicines.

This is accurate, as are all your postings I've seen. I've seen the
Pfizer mailing concerning the danger of combiming nitrates with
Viagra, and it is restricted to ONLY that class of drugs.

And nitrates (nitrite in the case of the inhalant amyl nitrite)
aren't in any preparations for high blood pressure. They relax
smooth muscle, and preferentially the smooth muscle in the walls
of coronary arteries, so they're for chest pain called "angina
pectoris (sp?)" which results from insufficient blood flow to heart
muscle.

Many patients take nitrates, but only as needed for angina, so
the patients are very aware of what they're taking, and why.

<<This statement is factually incorrect. Viagra's problem IS specifically with nitrates and nitrates are NOT in most high blood pressure medicines.>>

Thanks for clearing that up Brad. I'm glad I did not state it as fact! I'm not a medical doctor. don't even play one on TV <g>.

<<Another factor . overlooked is the patient exclusion criteria they used>>

Brad is there a resource to lookup study results and/or NDA filings? That kind of information seems quite useful.

Also is there anyplace to find details of the payment schedule from SGP? The 5Mil accelerated payment made last qtr look much better than if they had not received it. My understanding is word about acceptance of the NDA should be decided mid-September. Is there another payment due then?
