Brian - lighten up. I can't even tell you how small my portfolio is or I would be laughed out of SI. I am talking about Nokia as a good long term investment opportunity, *not* my track record. There is a difference. Anyway, I didn't buy Nokia back in 1992, so I'm never going to see Barbados. I bet that thrills some small-minded San Diego residents. I can't muster much jealousy about people who make 1'000% returns on their investments, because I can't stomach risks like that. More power to them.

As far as my comments on Qcom thread are concerned, most of them are replies to jabs on Nokia, Finland or me. If I respond to blatant (though mostly goodnatured) Finn-baiting I'm hardly infringing on anybody. I think most people see the humor. This is not excatly WSJ op-ed page, you know.

Anything I've said about Nokia's competitors pales in comparison to what American posters routinely write about European companies or economies. SI is highly biased towards US tech companies and that's just groovy - it *is* mostly your show. But even if 1% of Qualcomm posts presents a European POV that is considered excessive by some people. And that's something I don't understand.

As far as being repetitive is concerned - that was a cruel & unusual punishment... you know I'm the funniest mobile telecom poster around here! After Gregg, that is, he's a riot.
