From the President..........
From the President...

Whatever happened to the lazy days of summer? Around here, we're as
busy as we've been all year. asyst product sales continue to grow at a
solid pace. The Year 2000 versions of our AS/400 Legacy products are
nearly completed, although testing has been slowed by the crush of other
work. (We're still anticipating release of the financial applications this year, so if you
haven't volunteered as a beta site yet, please do so.) We're nearing completion of the
first release of our new asyst:Public Safety products (including asyst:Master Name Index,
asyst:Calls for Service, asyst:Offense Reports, and asyst:UCR Reports). We're planning a
September 1st customer ship date. And, new installations plus conversions from Legacy,
UBS, and QFA are keeping the folks in Support hopping. But, we're gluttons for
punishment, so if you haven't decided what route you'll be taking to the Year 2000,
please do so earlier rather than later.

We've also committed to developing asyst:Building Permits and asyst:Business Licenses early
next year. We'll be developing these two additional general government products along
with the migration of our asyst products from Microsoft Access 2.0 to Microsoft Access
97. So, if you have needs in either of these two areas, call your sales rep so that they can
keep you posted as the products evolve.

In the meantime, keep cool, enjoy at least some summer fun, and stay tuned for lots more
interesting and productive products and services from your friends here at USTI

nice call on USTI
After the closing I already thought we wouldn't see the financial. But, yes it's out now and pretty encouraging. This company did the hard-earned turnaround and could have a great future going on this steps. When I called the company on Friday I had a good impression and thought they are doing a great service to their customers, which is very important in this biz. I'm happy not only because of the increased revenues but also because of their ability to decrease all sorts of costs. I think there's still much space to get healthier and with the shipping of the Y2K Quest and Legacy modules I assume bigger earnings in the 4Q. Considering the fact they are a fully reported company and now on black figures, I think it's more worth than the current 5 cents. I'm looking forward to see the gap up on Monday.

Thanks again to you and Rande Is who caught my attention with your posts and prediction. good work!

good luck and have fun
