Ah yes, nothing like an ad hominem attack where you attack me instead of what I have to say.

The reason I have the link to NORML is that I think the War on Drugs is a form of fascism, an assault on freedom. Oddly enough, there are a number of prominent people, including Nobel prize winning economist Milton Friedman, who favor drug legalization. For some serious research on the topic of drug legalization you might want to check out druglibrary.org .

That was uncalled for. Maybe he is just smarter than you when it comes to Our Rights. BTW, I am LONG on DGIV!

"...So long as the people do not care to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; For tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote themselves in the name of any number of gods, religious and otherwise, to put shackles upon sleeping men."
-- Voltarine de Cleyre

"The prestige of the government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the Prohibition Law. Nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced."

- Albert Einstein - My first impression of the USA, 1921

"Prohibition...goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded."

-- Abraham Lincoln

If we've learned anything
in the past quarter century,
it is that we cannot
federalize virtue.
-PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH, 1991

It has been my experience
that folks who have no vices
have very few virtues.
-ABRAHAM LINCOLN
