I haven't figured out what the WWF plans with the casino or if they overpaid. Right now, hotel space is doing well, so you have to wonder how the heck Debbie ended up going broke. Maybe it was the all day playing of "Tammy" on the elevator Muzak machine. <G> One thing, we now know that she is, indeed, sinkable.

The WWF bought DEBIQ at a bankruptcy auction and got it for a bargain price. McMahon's plans and some of the terms are in the links below. I was in Las Vegas about 6 months ago and checked out the hotel. It's a small hotel on the Strip, in good shape, recently renovated, on a big lot with room for expansion. Debbie's problem was that it was a place based on the old Las Vegas lounge model. Today's Vegas is all spectacle, something McMahon has experience with. Debbie should be in a place like Branson, Mo. I think the WWF will do well in Vegas. The TV act may be getting stale, but if you can fill rooms and a casino, a Las Vegas hotel is like a money printing press, and I think McMahon and company can do it.
