Dell did go to 98 about 10 days ago. With the general trend down, overseas problems and Clinton confessing; the markets are teetering and could reel. I see no reason it can not retest 98 in a slide of 40 on the Naz on 'terrible Tuesday' this week. The whisper numbers are so high that it could sell of 10 overnight. 103 was tested Friday. It has made lower lows all week, so in any kind of down market, I expect it to be lower than 10315/16. How do you think HWP will do on Monday? That can affect Dell as well if forcasts are not strong. Doesn't matter
which ones you buy, they'll all go up. DELL should see 10 to 15 by Jan 2000 and single digits after
that.

Why do you think the price is going below $30-40 or so? The latter seems entirely reasonable to me unless you think PC (and substitutes) demand will be falling long-term ratehr than just in the next 2 years or so.

PS Do you know anything about calculating free cash flow for banks and other financials? Adding net investment cash flow to operating cash flow gives me hugely neagtive numbers for all of them.

Lucretius, I thought you'd like to know that DELL reports on Tuesday after the close of the market. Not on Monday as you erroneously indicated. I'm sure your research is deep enough (no pun intended) to know the correct date, and that your post contained a typo by mistake.

Obviously, I see the glass as half-full, as opposed to your half-empty view. You're entitled to think that, but I am entitled to disagree.

I guess we'll see (for the short term for sure) on Tuesday evening.

Regards,

LoD
