Prospector! I know what your are going through.. I am in your general area and subscribe to a service provider called Interact! They are using the USWest phone lines and every time I call to complain about my 56K modem not hooking up or when it does, it's only at 28,000 then 26,400 and now 24,000 bps!! They tell me it's not their doings but USWest and their lines... So I call USWest and they say, sorry but we only guarantee 14,400. WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!!.. What service provider in their right mind would want to do business with them.. Looking into my Cable TV system.. Maybe they have something coming soon!!! GoodBye Interact & USWest...
