>> Looks like THE MAN is BAILING OUT in a HURRY <<

If I could sell 1/3 of my "rice bowl" for 38 million, I would. So would you. The other 76 million, I would take to heaven.

This is about 1/3 of Mr chambers Cisco holdings. Looks like THE MAN is BAILING OUT in a HURRY (this is not for kids education, new house etc..). Also other VP's are BAILING OUT TOO.

What is your vendetta? You do notice what the story says he isn't selling:

news.com

"Chambers, whose company is among the tech stock bellwethers, has filed to sell 390,000 shares with a value of $38.5 million, according to the regulatory filings. His planned sale represents 32 percent of his holdings, according the company's latest proxy statement. The CEO still has 1.4 million options--outside of his current holdings--that have yet to vest."

It could be because they have finally realized the GAME is OVER, and Cisco will
soon be like 3Com.

This is UNPRECEDENTED. Maybe Erik will wind up having to SELL and pay
TAXES after all!!

Once again you're right Stockman. He must be bailing. What he should be doing is keeping his $100M+ portfolio all in Cisco.. especially now that there is uncertainty in the market. Why would anyone want to diversify. That would be ridiculous.

Stockman you're such a putz...

Stockman,
You work at BAY right? You have options, right? Read those forms, they'll have an expiration date associated with them, which basically say that if you don't exercise the options by a certain date, you get nothing. Guaranteed that JC's options grant says expiration 1 year from the last vesting date.

JC selling some stock is meaningless.
