All right let's take a brief look at the Russian History.. Up untill beginning of this century Russia was a feodal state with great majority being enslaved and was a deeply backward country ...Even back than Alcoholism was so prevalent that entire farms could come to a standstill for days...Than Great October Revolution came.. in the Civil war that followed millions of people died in the name of the better life..Reds won...Great majority of intelectuals left...Next Red Terror started that cost Russia at least 50 mln lives...The best and the brightest that remained were tortured, or killed ...". The best farmers (anyone who has more than one cow) were killed or destroyed...Any link with ouside world (other than spying) was cut-off... Alcoholism is now so bad that entire country is ravaged to the point of no return...The brain drain has accelerated far beyond hockey players after "weakening of the empire" But..external link with the rest of the world is re-established Two generations is probably unrealistic though....The Great Disaster-military confrontation is not...
