Sergio, Ah ha, the gauntlet of challange has been cast! I certainly did not intend to cause a fundimental arguement of OMX and given my limited ability I am no match for the esteemed Cary, however, as the perception is clear I must respond in kind. (figure all of that out and you get a cup of coffee on me) OMX, firstly, has in fact purchased approx. 1.5 million shares of their stock on the open market since Nov. of 97. Given a present ROE of 8+%, obiously the co. is putting their bottom line to work for them. This is being accomplished through the re purchase program and the expanding of some 221 super stores and the remodeling of several of the present stores,plus remodeling of the store within a store concept with copymax. It is difficult being #3, but it does tend to make you work harder to be #1. More to come. Ken W
