Thean: This absolute pure speculation on my part, but if 1) occurs, there will be sort of a collective confirmation by the public that he really is a sleazebag. However, this should put an end to alot of uncertainty regarding possible impeachment proceedings, etc. I would expect this would be conducive to a "relief" rally. If 2) occurs, then nothing has really changed and the uncertainty will continue. What wil Starr's next step be? etc etc. Another thought. Does any of this really matter to the market or is it just a convenient coincident? The bull analysts can point to the Clinton situation as the source of the market's recent volatility. BWDIK?? My strategy is to be cautious and be prepared for either scenario.
