Zing is based on a remarkable new technology that lets you use the time it takes to download Web pages (the interstitial wait) to have more fun surfing or working. The Zing player is an application that works with Microsoft and Netscape browsers to deliver entertainment while you wait. Zing automatically senses when a Web page is loading, and instantly fills your browser window with Zing spots-high quality, full-screen images, information, animation and sound. When the viewer detects that a new page is ready to be displayed, the player instantly moves out of the way, so you can continue surfing. The Zing player is a free download. It takes about 7 minutes to download using a 28.8 baud modem. Once you've installed the software, Zing kicks into action, automatically and invisibly whenever you start up Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Explorer.
