Nancy, I know it's off the topic, but speaking of babies reminded me of this. I was reading John chpt 3 awhile back preparing for a Bible study and came accross 'You must be born again'. I began probing into Jesus' statement and drawing parallels between the spiritual and physical when it comes to birth. Physical inside the womb we know: 1. Muffled voices can be heard, especially that of the mother. 2. You cannot see because it is dark 3. You cannot have a relationship with your parent After birth: 1. You can speak and hear. 2. You have emerged from darkness into the light and can now see 3. You can now have an interactional relationship with your parent. Now apply the above to the spiritual birth. You may have thought of this before, but it was the first time that God inspired me to fully grasp the concept of new birth in reference to physical birth. Bob
