Thanks Sean abbott.ncsa.uiuc.edu had just what I was looking for. I was looking for a source of information that didn't tell me more than I wanted to know about html.

I agree for any type of serious editing of a html document Front Page or a Fusion product is the way to go. But Windows 98 comes with Front Page Express, a slightly watered-down version of Front Page 98, and makes a good starting point for the beginner.
