Review of last press release. Touch of Nature Natural Sweetener Now Being Sold in the United States and Canada LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 1998--AZNT (AZNT:OTCBB) is pleased to announce the long awaited delivery of their 100% pure and natural sweetener, TOUCH OF NATURE(TM), to select retail stores in NV, AZ, AK, CA, NY, NB, IA, WI, MT, WY and Toronto, Canada. ''Touch of Nature(TM)'' is a 100% pure natural product derived from the sap and leaves of a small tree found in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. This variety of tree has been named ''Natures Taste'' by one of the company's founders, Dr. Domingos Loricchio. The sap, necessary for the product, is extracted from the Natures Taste tree in much the same method as maple sap is obtained from maple trees in the United States and Canada. The leaves of the Natures Taste tree are then crushed to extract essential ingredients which are combined with the sap in a process which ultimately results in this wonderful all natural sweetener. ''Touch of Nature(TM)'' has characteristics which allow it to be used in the same application as sugar (saccharose or sucrose). The Nutritional Facts analysis found that ''Touch of Nature(TM)'' per serving has 0 fat, 0 cholesterol, 0 sodium, 0 carbohydrates and 0 protein. It also leaves no after taste as do some synthetic sweeteners, is also non-fermentable which gives it extended shelf life, yet is equal or better in taste than cane sugar. ''Touch of Nature(TM)'' possesses natural properties that permit its use as an ideal sugar substitute for calorie restricted diets or for those suffering with diabetes. ''Touch of Nature(TM)'' is a delightfully surprising alternative for those individuals who prefer not to use regular sugar or are reluctant to use artificial sweeteners. As a result, ''Touch of Nature(TM)'' may have applications in treatment programs for all forms of diabetes. These properties allow for its use as a sugar substitute in all drinks, hot or cold, as well as your favorite cooking recipes. This product could be nature's answer to sweeteners and sugar substitutes being sold today, such as SWEET 'N LOW(R) and EQUAL(R). Products on today's market contain chemicals as Phenylalanine or Calcium Saccharin, which has been determined to cause cancer in laboratory animals. It is the belief of AZNT that our product will be so readily accepted by the consumers and manufacturers, it will capture a significant market share in a relatively short time. The company's goal is to see this product utilized wherever sugar substitutes and sweeteners are currently used. AZNT has engaged in an aggressive advertising campaign to deliver its products to market now. The Company is moving out of the development stage and becoming a profit center. The campaign will entail a weekly influx of new products into the market place. The Company has found its market niche and is now going to capture it. Weekly Press Releases will keep all stockholders and interested parties informed as to the progress that the Company is making. President, Michael A. Sylver, says ''this ultra aggressive marketing program will result in substantial revenue gains and increased profitability with the end result being a strong performing stock.'' At the present time, AZNT has 125 Phytogenic(TM) products which are 100% natural including Cats Claw, Pau D'Arco and Guarana. Phytogenics(TM) is the use of plants and related species in the production of medicine to treat and cure human illness and disease. EQUAL(R), NUTRASWEET(R), and the NUTRASWEET(R) Symbol are registered trademarks of the NUTRASWEET Company. SWEET'N LOW(R) is a registered trademark. **************************************** Alright then... here we have the last news release. We also have claims by the company's management that they seek to market Touch of Nature as an alternative to Equal and Sweet&Low. The only problem is that the FDA approved the last two (not without some continuing controversy) and I have yet to see any information stating that AZNT has applied for FDA approval to qualify Touch of Nature as a certified food additive. As it stands now, AZNT should only be able to market their products as "dietary supplements", and not food or food additives. This company could possibly find itself a target of the FDA . Homeopathic products are sold as a dietary supplement, and thus evade the FDA's control. Making claims that TofN is qualified to be a "food" additive in mainstream products goes beyond their rights and put them squarely in regulatory territory of the FDA, if not another "unspeakable" agency. My advice: Nip this in the bud NOW, before it becomes a major problem in the future. Those of you invested in this company had better pass this information on to management and "demand compliance" with Federal regulations. That is only in your own best interests. For what it's worth... You all can do whatever you want to do. Good luck!! Regards, Ron
