Gentlemen:

What is working very well for me is:

3ComImpact IQ ISDN Modem setup for 2B channels via multilink at 128kps. I get the option to use one of lines for POTS (plain old telephone service) which drops it down to 64k. I've been using NetMedic from VitalSigns to monitor speed and it looks like I spend more time waiting on the net or my ISP (Netcom) than I do being bandwidth limited. This setup has worked well with quotes, etc.

Cost:

ImpactIQ ~$200
ISDN svc - $75/month
Netcom = $49.95 w/ 100 b channels hours / month...

Here's a link to the 3COM faq on the ImpactIQ

Directpc charges 34.95 for 100 hours of use. I should have my system up and running in a few days. I was told the speed is very fast sometimes and slower at other times.
