ROBERT POOL FROM GARY BAGGS,To: Robert Pool (4620 ) From: Gary Baggs Sunday, Aug 16 1998 12:33PM ET Reply # of 4626 <<<<<<<<<<<<SORRY WRONG THREAD THREAD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Seems like this 144 filing has raised a bit of speculation on Yahoo also. Interesting to be involved in the workings of 144 filing. As screwed up as this filing was, makes me really doubt the validity of other 144 filings. The "C.L. Baggs revoc tro" is a revocable trust set up for kids. The state is wrong, the zip is wrong--but at least they didn't put in my phone #. I don't think it was necessary for Wheat First Securities to file this, but they has a lot of problems getting TTRIF to remove the restriction legend from a certificate for 300K shares that were registered last October. After 3 weeks of delays by TTRIF, with excuses like their U.S. attorney was on vacation for a week and therefore couldn't send an opinion letter, WFS got tired of it and filed a 144 to be able to sell unregistered shares--which as I said--were registered last Oct. Why they only filed for 100K vs 300K I have no idea. Not that it's really anyones business, but I did sell 50K shares on July 22nd, and don't have any plans at present to sell more--obviously subject to change. If someone would be so kind to post this on yahoo, would appreciate it. Bought a new computer a few months ago and the cookies to allow posting on Yahoo of course aren't on the new one. Transferred the cookie file to the new computer while using Netscape v 3, then when installed v4.05, the cookies were lost. Can't find a cookie file in v 4 to reinstall, and in transferring file from old computer to new, I screwed up the original cookie file--net effect is i can't post on yahoo from either computer without re-registering--and of course then wouldn't be able to use any of previous aliases. Almost as screwed up as this 144 filing<g>.
