Tom, The Mailbag section is almost always the best part of Barron's, which is why it is the only place they ever print my comments. <G>

I totally agree with those letters. But why are we Texans the only ones who know that the Japanese have to raise rates? One of my grammar school friends, Karen Murakami, had a father named Tex. If we could get somebody with a moniker like Tex Murakami in charge over their, perhaps Japan's Sun would be rising again. <G>
