Who in the heck wants a 1.44 floppy drive? Usually just those with older software or document files to load that aren't on CD-ROM yet, or that wish to transport files to other computers that aren't networked. Luckily, those folks can use the USB Imation Superdrive! I don't own any Macs, I have a P2 400 arriving Wed. After reading all these posts, I am thinking of picking up a iMac for my mother. I'm purchasing an iMac for my mother as well. I know she'll love it. As soon as she gets it, she'll have the fastest Mac in the family!
