Kind of doubt it, Rainforest - I do not believe the patents bearing on that decision were being broadly collected. If they finally won the suit, royalties would almost certainly increase briskly ( as Jubimer has pointed out). I do believe what you mention is a tangible risk in the deadbeat dad type suits against Mitsubishi . A wacky judge and/or jury encountered? The fallout among other payers could be dangerous with a loss. Must note again that a microcap is taking on a company with a GNP in excess of Sweden's.
While I personally prefer AXC'sconservative announcement style - it will serve them well in the long term if they ever achieve success in their efforts .... enhances credibility - I do think they should be MUCH more forthcoming with information about the royalty stream. Shareholders have a right to know who is paying, for how long, and for what. I can see no need to veil that basic information.
