When companies get into financial difficulty and go into bankruptcy, even the debt holders usually don't get 100% of their money. The equity holders usually get little or nothing. Preferred is a little less risky than common.

In the unlikely event CD doesn't make it, I doubt the CD.I holders would get anything.

That is the reason I say we CD.I holders are betting on Henry. I think it is a good bet. I will keep my CD.I and might buy some more.
