Soumen, i think you are either off target in you analysis or are unaware of Clinton's usage and interpretation of the english language.
Even the chairman of the democratic party calls him an extremely skillful liar, and he's being polite.

there must be some sort of pc term, such as truthfully challenged

The interesting thing about the market....at least in my outdated mode of thought as I am a bit out of touch....

is that the market needs Clinton. A serious problem with Clinton's position is a serious problem for the market as it fosters uncertainty in the elevation of his Vice-President.

Innocent or guilty, the market will react powerfully to the Clinton testimony and it's results; just my opinion.

Soumen: . At least Clinton deserves some credit for being falsely accused and going through the hell put forward by a teen age novice and some unprofessional women headed by a conservative jihad disguised as pro democracy.

I guess come Monday night, hopefully you will pull your head out of the sand!

Regrads,
LG

Soumen, re Clinton testifies tomorrow. I hope he comes out swinging.

I think that is what he is going to do, according to a Presidential advisor speaking on condition of anonymity, as quoted in a newswire report. The President is going to admit he's been a swinger; i.e. he had sexual relations with someone other than his wedded spouse Hillary. He's "coming out", as opposed to the adamant denial before. So you could say he's "coming out swinging".

"This whole charade" as you call it, is "run by" the US Justice Dept, headed by Clinton appointee U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno. If it wasn't Ken Starr it would be some other law officer. Here in the US the system holds people accountable, no matter how "popular" they are.

A United States court isn't a popularity contest like it might be in a third world country run by a tin-horn dictator.

If you admire the manner in which William Jefferson Blythe Clinton has baldly lied under oath to a US Court judge and then baldly lied to the American people on a major TV network show, then go ahead and admire him. I think Bill Clinton has played the part of the fool during this whole mess, starting with his adulterous affairl, continuing with lying under oath to a Federal judge, and then compounding his idiocy by lying to the American people.
