DD and all: As you know, Flanagan expressed his own bullishness
consistent with Brinker's regarding the overall markets during
the whole of a Brinkerless week-end. However, Flanagan's modus
operandi vis a vis the avowed "buying opportunity" appears to
differ significantly from Brinker's directives. When queried,
Flanagan responded that he would feel comfortable with sinking
only half of all funds ear-marked for stocks into the market at
this juncture and preferred to "wait and see," "poke around,"
or similar, if memory serves, as regards the other half. Brinker,
seemingly, would have those, who have been dollar cost averaging
since the last specified buy area of below DJIA 7500 in January
1998, jumping in with both feet at these levels below DJIA 8650.
