Kenneth, well HLIT is supplying all the optoelectronics for these projects,right now there are 2 for sure in Washington State,2 in Louisiana,and a major one in Dallas from their conference call. They are putting Metro DWDM in 14 cities,100 communities as we speak for TCI. They have 5 cities started,9 more to be announced. ANTC is supplying the basic fiber optic hardware and connectors,for both HLIT and NT. ANTC is selling to TCI on consignment basic fiber optic equipment,and billing them later. Tony Ley has said that the transmitter are installed right now,as the need arises. The breakdown is 56% transmitters,10% repeaters(EDFA's),25% return path,and is being deployed as the ATHM network and TCI.Net need them. In Dallas they are installing 40 hubs,1 headeand. Right now there are over a dozen MetroDWDM systems that HLIT has installed in 4 cable companies. The companies were not expressed,but I know of 21st Century in Chicago,Cox in Palos Verdes,5 installations,possibly 6 for TCI,and I believe the last must be Rogers in Canada(not sure). These build-outs take time,21st Century on has a small portion up and running,about 18,000 homes passed. The Washington installations will take at least 6-12 months to complete the initial phase,and the rest should be completed in 3 years. This will not show up in HLIT's bottom line until the end of this year,but if they keep on getting new system contracts that can carry them well into the next millenium. Hiram
