May be, may be not. You need a 'HUB'(which means $) if
you want to chain more than one USB device to your USB
port(to provide power).

For SCSI, you need high quality cable(again $).

Don't know what the net would be. But USB and SCSI is not
in the same league.

Re Firewire: Firewire is still coming.

Re IMac & Parrelle Port:

Before I get into this would you even buy ANY mac even if it had all the things that are missing.. knowing you <G> probably not.

If you really want to hook up parellel port devices you can get a $30 USB to PPort adapter. It has the added benefit of being faster than a normal PPort.

PS. Is you ZIP drive the Mac or the PC version. If it's the PC version you would have to toss it anyway.
