There's the Wall Street Week "Elves" that get halos if they're correct. If Acampura turns out to have called a bear market close to or at the bottom of this correction, I imagine Prudential will lose customers and Acampura will lose his job. As for the pundits doing guest shots on CNBC, CnnFn, and Fox, most of the journalist talking heads don't seem savvy enough to call them on the carpet. The comedy value of some pundits such as Jimmy "BowTie" Rogers and Michael "the Great Bear" Metz seems to extend their TV careers on and on and on. Keeping track of naysayers could be a great career opportunity for someone willing to do the work. If it were my responsibility this past week, I think I'd be exhausted :-)) P
