When I buy a new computer, I wipe the HD. Then install the OS and drivers from scratch.

Format c: /u mean format unconditional.

I agree on Win98, easy install. I have installed Win95 at least 20 time on my computers. Sometimes when your system starts getting unstable, your better off to format the HD and install the OS from scratch. Allot of work but it solves the problems.

I don't run NT. But I think Win98 will be allot more stable that 95. Haven't had many problems with 98 since I installed it back in June.
