Joe,
I've never used Traders access. I notice they are part of TBSP, which I've heard of.
I dl in metastock format. Apparently they are ASCII and I don't like to convert data if I don't have to.
With data vendors you just have to search and find the one for you. TC2000 for instance is one that automatically adjusts mutual funds for distributions. I currently use Telescan with the Nirvana downloader, mainly because I can get futures.
Another source would be www.quotesplus.com but again I would have to convert unless I use their charting program.
Some vendors have limits on the numbers of quotes/mo. I don't like that. Others charge too much for historical quotes. With Telescan I can get 8 yars for the same flat fee. On the downside, the data can be crummy at times.
