QCOM $3 billion CDMA sales V.S. $20 billion ERICY (GSM + AMPS) + $11 billion (GSM + TDMA + AMPS + CDMA) NOKA. Why do you think QCOM can not take on these small boys? That is what I mean by "samll vs. 800 pound gorillas" mentality.

Exactly what is 800 pound gorillas? Did ERICY and NOKA have so much revenue 3 years ago? MOT (has at least $3 billion sales on CDMA contract along) had $27 billion sales for the last 3 years still. I do not understand your "800 pound gorillas" statement in the first place?

The question is how fast and how wide can each camp get more infrastructure contracts signed and get paid and all will have the handsets market available for all to compete. It is not NOKA's phones are doing well now and can last forever.
