Insider selling is not to be taken lightly, when it is a genuine indication of how execs feel about the prospects for the company. The question is, is this one of those cases or not?

The article that you quoted:

news.com

mentions that other CSCO execs are selling and it also mentions execs at Gateway and Oracle, who are also selling. This tends to give the impression that these guys are trying to time the market, rather than indicate their faith in the near-term prospects for their respective companies.

My impression is that as market timers, corporate executives are good contrary indicators due to the fact that they are usually wrong. This information may actually be bullish for CSCO.

Stockman,
I guess that means that BAY didn't give you options. Too bad.

I don't need to read up on options, I am looking at my grant statements right now.
