>>> So why is it sinking?

One thing about the market now is it's generally a bit more cautious, and where the DB biz in particular is concerned the thrill is gone.

You have the folks looking at things like P/Es again, albeit through the wrong end of the telescope, and here you have an industry where it no longer is growing very quickly for a tech business (compared to the big internet winners), and even the big winner in DB, Oracle, still has a PE of 30 after the stock has been put down a bit!

Meanwhile if you look at IFMX or SYBS they don't have a positive annual P/E yet, because they have had some very bad times.

Traditionally, an industry with this kind of growth rate might have had a P/E under 20, anyway. And individual companies would be thinking about issuing a dividend, because they were no longer in a hot hot growth industry.

Then there is the alleged criminality. And at moment the market is being held up by who knows what. A few days lately, by the circuit breakers and MMs and so on.

If IFMX makes 0.20 a share this year, a miracle in other words, it will have a P/E of 28 at current prices. So, why does everyone here seem to think the market isn't giving this stock full credit?

Yes, this is a change for me to be thinking this way. (Please send all your hate mail here where everyone can enjoy it :-)

Cheers,
Chaz

Thanks Austin

BTW, somebody sold 400 contract of Feb 7.5 puts today, which means he is bullish on IFMX. (I know he sold it since the open interest was not changed from last week to today, I expect to be over 800 contract tomorrow from about 435).
I am still surprised that the majority of Aug 7.5 calls are still open.
there are over 22k contracts.
last month they rolled over 12k to this month since there was about 5/8 of point in there. It will be interesting to see what they will do this time, since Sep 7.5 has no real premium.

I will keep you posted.
BTW, where is robert G.?
