Oh, sure, I should have recognized Hague as being from "Frank Hague", I believe. I occasionally hit Jersey City for breakfast with some friends and then Hoboken for Italian pastries.

I have not been there in several years but Elizabeth was getting to be a tough neighborhood some time back. It was okay up until around the '70s, though. But Hoboken/Jersey City are having something of a revival. Hoboken is home to a lot of Wall Street's younger crowd and JC is seeing a lot of Broker-Dealers cross the river. Matter of fact, there is a fellow named Goldman (I think) here on SI whose firm (Yamner?) is based in JC. As is Meyer-Schwietzer which is the largest of Nasdaq MMs. I think it is Schwab's Nasdaq arm.

Anyway, I don't know if you remember East Orange but that was my neck of the woods. People from Newark are afraid of E.O.

But where I am now is okay.

Where I was on vacation there was no electricity, no telephones...sort of Gilligan's Isle. I have no opinion on the market yet, with the possible exception that I think a break of SPX 1055 (I think it was) would get me short ASAP. I don't have anything up and running right now but when I arrived home last night I think that was the point that leaped out of the screen at me during a perfunctory glance.

I see a lot of Newsletter types are calling it oversold but that does not necessarily mean it could not get more so.

Good trading to you in any event. Next time you come back to Jersey remember to bring at least 3 concealed weapons.
